The Role Logistics

We’re looking for a savvy implementer and people-oriented project manager who can bridge marketing, sales, and partnerships to bring ease, structure, and a keen eye towards ROI. This is a relationship and meeting heavy role that connects dots between internal and external stakeholders and turns ideas into motion.

This is a contractor role starting at 15–25 hours per week, with a goal to grow to full-time  and other opportunities to expand based on impact and leadership capabilities.

  • This is a 100% remote position with flexible hours.
  • We’re prioritizing candidates available to collaborate in an Eastern time zone of 10am-6pm EST.
  • Compensation range is for international candidates from $15–25 per hour USD.

Responsibilities and Areas of Need

You’ll work closely with the CEO, Marketing Director, Growth Director, and other sales team members — as a translator of ideas into execution, liaison between people, workflow optimizer, and contribute a mix of hands-on implementation and delegation/oversight of projects. You would be the critical link between strategy and execution.

You’ll also mentor admin support, identify training/process gaps, and drive forward results through iterative and data-driven improvements.

This isn’t a fixed plug-and-play role — we’re intentionally designing it around the right person, aiming to build a position where your natural strengths get to shine in support of our company’s goals.

Our primary sales and marketing strategies include the following:

  • Social selling on LinkedIn
  • Relationship-based and consultative sales approach
  • Networking and online communities engagement
  • Thought leadership content featuring our amazing team members’ expertise
  • Targeted custom cold outreach and prospecting
  • Referral partner program
  • Weekly opportunities newsletter
  • Live online events
  • Social media campaigns
  • Webflow website platform with SEO optimized content, blogs, case studies, podcast, and more
  • Landing pages and opt-ins
  • Email marketing nurture series
  • PR, co-branded content, and podcast guest features

Bonus if someone has multiple areas of interest. Mega bonus if someone has multiple areas of interest AND experience AND they love what we do AND they can keep up with high performers.

Below is a list of areas where we have gaps in making all of that happen and need your help, in priority order:

  • Own project management across marketing, sales, and partnerships — driving priorities forward so that everything runs on time and to spec across departments.
  • Oversee the full relationship cycle from initial contact through to contract signing by ensuring key conversations happen with the right people at the right time and follow-ups are handled with care — no balls dropped and deals are moving forward.
  • Serve as the key liaison between the many people involved in sales & marketing, facilitating conversations, follow-ups, and shared initiatives.
  • Stay on top of all marketing and sales activity, report data, and help surface key insights or feedback loops that inform strategy.
  • Mentor and delegate to the admin support team; upholding quality, accountability, and documentation of their work.
  • Mentor and oversee our growing sales team of super connectors who network and nurture relationships on our behalf.
  • Identify and fill gaps in our systems, assets, or workflows — and own change management during transitions.
  • Lead internal documentation (SOPs, guides, updates, reporting) so that we know what’s happening, how it gets done, and the results of our projects.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Initiatives don’t just start strong — they stay strong or pivot based on reporting, testing, and data-driven decisions.
  • Our active prospects pipeline is consistently filled and progressing forward to successfully close new clients.
  • Contribute to the build, documentation, iterative maintenance, and evolution of sales and marketing processes.
  • We know the why + what + who + how + when and the right priorities are moving forward with momentum and generating results.
  • Oversee the ROI of the Referral Partner Program, nurture relationships and the value of participation, and that we are generating direct referrals from our efforts. Ultimately leading to a referral engine and sustainable partnership ecosystem that fosters win-win-win opportunities for all involved.

Skills That Will Enable You to Thrive

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, project management, program management, growth, or partnership roles, with a focus on social selling via LinkedIn, email marketing, referral partner programs, SEO, content, and event marketing for early-stage startups and small businesses.
  • You learn quickly, like, really quickly. You can grok a business, goals, and challenges with a minimal amount of context and details.
  • Exceptional project management skills in fast-paced environments — including delegation, team accountability, and deadline tracking to ensure people, projects, and priorities move forward smoothly cross-functionally.
  • Confidence in leading internal and external calls, while knowing when to loop in leadership for strategic escalation.
  • Extremely comfortable navigating ambiguity and know how to create clarity for yourself while managing up and across — especially with executive leaders.
  • Strong instincts and skills (or eager to upskill quickly) around brand voice, graphic design, copywriting, systems thinking, and team leadership.
  • You are flexible, resilient, and agile, adjusting your strategies and tactics as needed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • You are quick to pick up new tech and tools. Bonus if you are familiar and confident in using tools like LinkedIn, Flodesk, Webflow, Canva, CRMs, Slack, ClickUp, Missive, and Google Workspace.
  • AI-literate and excited to optimize and teach others on tools like Claude or ChatGPT into daily workflows.
  • You are detail oriented with precision. Special note to see if you’re paying attention. Put the secret code “I have found my peeps” in the 2nd to last application question.
  • You have a reliable computer and internet connection and can use video conferencing services such as Zoom.
